4 X 4 Cedar Post, White, Crown Cap and Curved Brace
Our 4 x 4 posts are built using Alaskan Yellow Cedar. Alaskan Yellow is the slowest growing but strongest variety of cedar, often compared to white oak in strength. Cedar is preferred to avoid wood rot and insect attack common to wood buried in the ground. The extra strength of Alaskan Yellow Cedar results in a wood post of incomparable resistance to damage and a far greater life span.
